GEM Cable Solutions are proud to announce that we are now accredited to the Achilles Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS).

WHAT IS RISQS

Formerly known as Link-up, The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) is the supplier pre-qualification service used by buyers of all products and services throughout the UK rail industry, including Network Rail and London Underground.  This provides the industry with ownership and governance of its supplier qualification arrangements.

Achilles RISQS is the single entry point for suppliers into the rail industry. RISQS is ‘by the rail industry, for the rail industry’ and is run entirely to support the UK’s national railway infrastructure and its supply chain.

The accreditation means that GEM Cable Solutions is now approved to carry out maintenance and installation of both fire and security systems near and on trackside, nationally throughout the UK.

This accreditation proves GEM Cable Solutions’ capabilities and  commitment to ensuring the highest levels of compliance, and demonstrates that our company’s business management system meets the health, safety, operational and competence standards required for working in the rail environment.
